Nicaragua: Shoigu signs Russian-Nicaraguan naval deal
Posted February 13, 2015. Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu met with Nicaraguan Army Chief General Julio Cesar Aviles Castillo in Managua, Friday. The pair signed an agreement Simplifying the Russian Navy's access to Nicaraguan ports as well as the memorandum on Naval Cooperation.

Rússia e Nicarágua assinaram nesta quinta-feira, em Manágua, um acordo intergovernamental que garante regime simplificado de trânsito de navios da Marinha russa nos portos do país latinoamericano. O documento faz parte de um pacote de cooperação técnica e militar celebrado entre os dois países, segundo informou o ministro da Defesa da Rússia, Sergei Shoigu.

The battle of Artemisuium Began just before the battle of Thermopylae and the Persians Prevented from using Their fleet to land troops behind the Greek hoplites stationed there. It was a tactical victory for the Persians Caused who forced the withdrawal of the Greek fleet was Strategically important but the it saw a large number of the Persian ships destroyed and it was a major blow to Persian morale.
