Typhoon 'Matmo' draws 300,000 home in China
More than 340,000 homes are without power. Storm may be the cause of the plane crash in Taiwan.
The Matmo hit the Chinese territory after passage of another typhoon, the Rammasun, which killed 56 people and left more than 20 missing.

In Hainan, the Rammasun destroyed about 51,000 houses and 40,600 hectares of crops and caused economic losses of 4.7 billion yuan ($ 752 million). It is expected that the Rammasun keep moving toward the northwest at a speed of 20 km / h, bringing heavy rains to the island of Hainan and Yunnan province (south).
