On the morning of June 11, the students of Squadron Officer in 2013, began the work of field exercise Operation Defensive at Observation Post (OP) Nr 1, retrograde movement in the region of Varginha - MG.
In the context of e xercício, students studied on a maneuver to Mechanized Cavalry Brigade in a defensive operation type and its retrograde motion result of the planning system soperacionais involved.
This operation was conducted with the purpose of slowing down the advance of the enemy, providing the time required for one could prepare Army Division in the area of rear, a strong defensive position.
