The central regions of Russia were hit by a strong cyclone.
The blizzard began on Sunday and continued throughout last night. The snow piled up in the morning seriously complicated the circulation of pedestrians and vehicles.
In Moscow formed huge traffic jams. Many people decided to take the subway to get to work. But there were crowds, and the trains that arrived had to be taken by approach.
To combat the snow, the Russian capital mobilized about 16 thousand units of machines for collecting snow. The bad weather did not affect the work of the Moscow airports, they are operating in normal mode.
