Implantado em uma ilha formada no grande lago do PNI, com acesso por uma ponte de madeira, o monumento de um índio guerreiro da etnia Guaicurus e seu cavalo possui 7 metros de altura e pesa cerca de 900 kg. O Monumento “Cavaleiro Guaicuru”, como é conhecido, foi construído em armação de ferro e revestida com uma mistura de resina e pó de mármore e é uma obra do escultor Sul-mato-grossense Anor Mendes.
