ISLAMABAD - Residents of the area of the Port of Gwadar in Pakistan, claimed to have seen a portion of land emerge from the sea after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that hit the country on Tuesday, 24, and has killed 328 people, according to the director General of Pakistan Meteorological Department, Arif Mahmoud. The police chief of the town, Pervez Umrani, confirmed that citizens were gathered on the beach to see the new island, about 100 meters long and 9 meters of elevation on the seabed.
