У нас с Сергеем Кужугетовичем сложились прекрасные дружеские и деловые отношения. Он, будучи министром МЧС, оказывал республике действенную помощь. И в новой должности готов поддержать наши начинания в работе по военно-патриотическому воспитанию молодежи, укреплению связей между органами власти и военным командованием, дислоцированных в регионе подразделений. Особенно актуально то, что министр по нашей просьбе принял решение о призыве в этом году для прохождения срочной службы 500 юношей. Это сделано впервые за многие годы. Далее численность призываемых будет расти. Мы обсудили целый круг и других важных вопросов и определили пути их решения.

Hyderabad scientists develop rechargeable magnesium battery

"The capacity of the cell is 5mAh at a voltage of approximately 2.0V vs Mg. Studies are in progress to improve the capacity of the battery. The cycle life of the battery is established for 800 to 900 cycles. As of now, the shelf life of the battery is estimated to be 2-3 years. The electrode materials are reusable and also biodegradable," it said Dr J Vatsala Rani and her team in Fluoro-Organics division of CSIR-IICT.

Days of monsoon rain in northern Pakistan and in Indian-administered state of Jammu and Kashmir have brought some of the worst flooding the region has seen in 60 years.
