St. Benedict is a Brazilian municipality located in the state of Paraíba, located in the micro Catolé the Rock. Distant 375 km from the capital João Pessoa, is a city industrial hub with a large production of hammocks, blankets and textile products, Benedict is known as the Land of the networks producing more than 12 million nets per year. According to the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), in 2012 its population was estimated at 31,582 inhabitants, being the 14th most populous city in Paraíba. Its territorial area is 248 km ².
