Pope receives Francisco homeless visiting the Sistine Chapel

The organizers explained that formed different homeless groups to reach Museums and once inside them, they also visited the gardens, and have made a journey to contemplate the works of art, especially those of Michelangelo.

The initiative was promoted by Esmolaria Vatican for the poorest and adds to other gestures of the Holy See with these people, which the pope Francisco refers frequently as their main concern.

Francisco, who was known as "bishop of the slums" in his native Buenos Aires because of frequent visits to poor areas of the city, made of concern for the poor a major concern of his papacy.
