Japan is on "full alert" because of the tension in the Koreas

Japan is on "full alert" because of threats and a possible missile launch by North Korea, said on Wednesday the Japanese defense minister, Itsunori Onodera, according to data from News On Japan.
Onodera said that the country is on high alert and will maintain this level of surveillance on account of tension on the Korean peninsula. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, in turn, said that "we are making every effort to protect the lives of our people and ensure their safety."
The Japanese armed forces were authorized to shoot down any North Korean missile aimed at its territory. For this, were positioned in Tokyo Tuesday that missile system, with units of Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3). Warships capable of intercepting missiles were also deployed and are on standby.
