Demonstrators protest topless during Putin's visit to Germany. Femen activists caused turmoil in event with Putin and Merkel. One of the women came within meters of two, screaming against 'dictator'.
Today, when Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin visited the pavilion of Volkswagen, several young women entered the fenced area was stripped to the waist. They chanted obscene slogans in English which were also written on their bodies.

Pope Francis

Francis (Franciscus [franˈtʃiskus]; born Jorge Mario Bergoglio on 17 December 1936) is the 266th and current Pope of the Catholic Church, elected on 13 March 2013. As such, he is Bishop of Rome, the head of the worldwide Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State.

 No veículo, estavam fuzis, pistolas, munição, coletes e uniformes da polícia e dos Correios

A Polícia Rodoviária Federal apreendeu um arsenal em um compartimento secreto de um caminhão-baú na rodovia FERNÃO DIAS, próximo a cidade de ATIBAIA , no interior de São Paulo, no início da madrugada desta sexta-feira (5). Foram encontrados  13 fuzis, sendo 07 M16, 05 AK47 e um FAL, 13 pistolas semi-automáticas e 13 coletes balísticos. Mais de 1.600 munições de diversos calibres para serem uttilizadas nos fuzis e nas pistolas, além de uma arma de choque, além de uma grande quantidade de munição para essas armas.

Também foram apreendidos coletes da Polícia Civil, roupas da Polícia Federal e da Receita Federal, além de uniformes dos Correios, máscaras e capuzes.

O armamento seria levado para o município de Simões Filho, na Bahia. O motorista foi preso. Ele disse que foi contratado pelo dono de uma agência de carros na capital paulista.

A Diretora Geral da Polícia Rodoviária Federal é a inspetora Maria Alice Nascimento Souza, socióloga, natural do estado do Paraná, e policial de carreira com 26 anos de serviços prestados à instituição. Primeira mulher a assumir a direção geral de uma instituição policial de âmbito nacional no Brasil, a inspetora Maria Alice foi, em 1986, também primeira motociclista feminina dos quadros da PRF. Em 2006, tornou-se a primeira mulher a assumir uma Superintendência da PRF, a do Paraná.

O Pentágono anunciou nesta quarta-feira que os EUA estão mandando um sistema de defesa antimísseis para a ilha de Guam, um dos territórios americanos no oceano Pacífico, nas próximas semanas.

 O exército da Coreia do Norte afirmou estar pronto para fazer um ataque nuclear contra os EUA, segundo um comunicado divulgado pela agência estatal KCNA. 

O Departamento da Defesa vai enviar um sistema conhecido como Defesa Aérea Terminal de Alta Altitude (THAAD, na sigla em inglês), que inclui um lançador montado em caminhão, interceptadores de mísseis, um radar de rastreamento AN/TPY-2 e um sistema integrado de controle de fogo.

North Korea Threat! The United States is sending a THAAD Ballistic Missile Defense System to Guam. The Pentagon said on Wednesday it was sending an advanced ballistic missile defense system to Guam in the coming weeks, describing the move as a precaution against North Korea's regional ballistic missile threat. The Defense Department is deploying a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense System (THAAD), which includes a truck-mounted launcher, interceptor missiles, a AN/TPY-2 tracking radar and an integrated fire control system. "The United States remains vigilant in the face of North Korean provocations and stands ready to defend U.S. territory, our allies, and our national interests," a Pentagon spokeswoman said. U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel cited a "real and clear" danger from North Korea. North Korea has singled out U.S. military bases in Guam, a U.S. territory in the Pacific, and Hawaii among its potential targets in threats in recent weeks that have put the Korean peninsula on edge and triggered a change in the U.S. defense posture and missile defense planning. "Some of the actions they've taken over the last few weeks, present a real and clear danger," Hagel told an audience at the National Defense University in Washington. He said those actions had threatened the interests of South Korea and Japan, but he also cited their direct threats against Guam, Hawaii and West Coast of the United States. The Missile Defense Agency is hailing flight test 10 of its Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (Thaad) system in March as a success. This was the first salvo test of the system; two interceptors were launched against one short-range target (boosted from a barge). The results, on the video, show interceptor one colliding with the warhead target while the second interceptor -- launched 12 sec. later -- adjusts to the target scene of debris and picks out a large piece as its target.

A presidente Dilma Rousseff é aguardada, nesta manhã de terça-feira, na Base Aérea de Fortaleza. Ela cumprirá agenda de trabalho que inclui, principalmente, reunião do Conselho Deliberativo da Sudene, na qual participarão os governadores dos estados nordestinos e de Minas Gerais e Espírito Santo.

O encontro ocorrerá no Centro de Eventos e contará com a participação de ministros como Fernando Bezerra, da Integração Nacional.

No terminal antigo do Pinto Martins desembarcarão, dentro de instantes, os governadores. Dois deles já estão sendo aguardados: do Piauí, Wilson Martins; e do Maranhão, Roseana Sarney. Os governadores chegam cedo porque tomarão um café da manhã, no Gran Marquise Hotel, com o governador Cid Gomes. Ali, vão sintonizar o discurso dos pleitos que farão à presidente Dilma Rousseff.
