MA: com 15 mil, protesto hostiliza Sarney e tem depredação da prefeitura

 Durante os vários gritos de manifestação, o nome de José Sarney era o mais lembrado. Foram muitos gritos de “Sarney, ladrão, devolve o Maranhão”, e “Ei, Sarney, vai tomar no...”. Nem a filha do senador, a governadora Roseana Sarney (PMDB), foi tão lembrada.

A confusão se acirrou quando os manifestantes derrubaram as grades de proteção que estavam em frente ao Palácio. A tropa de choque entrou em conflito com os manifestantes com spray de pimenta e bombas de gás lacrimogêneo. Os manifestantes revidaram com pedras, latas e foguetes de festa junina. Um fotógrafo levou uma pedrada. Três pessoas foram presas.

O saldo das depredações no Palácio Itamaraty é 60 vidraças quebradas, vidros pichados, acúmulo de lixo e fios de eletricidade danificados. O acervo de obras do palácio não foi atingido. O ministro das Relações Exteriores, Antonio Patriota, determinou hoje (21) a adoção de medidas preventivas para evitar invasões e ações de vandalismo. Às 15h, Patriota se reúne com integrantes de setores internos do Itamaraty e representantes do Gabinete de Segurança Institucional e do Ministério da Defesa para definição das normas.
