Edwards's pheasant, Lophura edwardsi, is a bird of the pheasant family Phasianidae and is endemic to the rainforests of Vietnam. It is named after the French ornithologist Alphonse Milne-Edwards and first described to science in 1896. The bird's length is 58–65 centimetres (23–26 in)  and has red legs and facial skin. The male is mainly blue-black with a crest, and the female is a drab brown bird. Edwards′s pheasant is almost identical to the similarly sized Vietnamese pheasant, which it overlaps with throughout its range. The male bird however lacks the white tail feathers of that species. The alarm call is a puk!-puk!-puk!

Xi Jinping promises to raise China's investment in Latin America

Chinese President Xi Jinping, announced today (8) that the country has set target to raise investment in Latin America up to $ 250 billion over the next ten years.

In a speech before the presidents of Ecuador (Rafael Correa), Venezuela (Nicolás Maduro) and Costa Rica (Luis Guillermo Solís), Xi Jinping defined this investment as one of the major objectives for relations between the two regions, followed by bilateral trade the Chinese leader wants to double a decade to reach $ 500 billion.

"China is willing to work with Latin America and the Caribbean to create a new platform for cooperation," said the president at a ceremony in the Great Hall of the People, the seat of the Chinese government, before government delegations from 30 countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean (CELAC).

He reported that during the 1st China-CELAC Forum will be developed rules for the permanent financing of this new dialogue mechanism, born on his own initiative.

The leader explained that will be signed the Beijing Declaration, which defines the cooperation guidelines enter China and CELAC. Will also be announced a plan for the period 2015-2019, cooperation in areas such as public security, trade, investment, finance, infrastructure, energy, resources, industry, agriculture and science.

Innocent civilians are brutally, killed women are raped and fake encounters are common habits of so called the Brave Indian Army. Recently Extremist Hindus from all over India gathered in Jammu and blocks the only highway linking Indian occupied Kashmir to rest of India. Thus social boycott of Kashmir's Muslims population is going on. Trade is abandoned. Nothing is allowed in or out of the state. Shops are being looted. Aged leaders like Syed Ali Gillani are being held in prison. And alas! UN and Security Council is doing nothing but protecting the rights of USA to invade the World. While India is performing genocide of Muslims all over India.

Jammu and Kashmir (Listeni/dʒɑːmuː/ & /kæʃmɪər/) is a state in northern India, granted special autonomy under Article 370 of the Constitution of India. It is located mostly in the Himalayan mountains, and shares a border with the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab to the south. Jammu and Kashmir has an international border with China in the north and east, and the Line of Control separates it from the Pakistani-controlled territories of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit–Baltistan in the west and northwest, respectively.

Formerly a part of the erstwhile Princely State of Kashmir and Jammu, which governed the larger historic region of Kashmir, the region is the subject of a territorial conflict among China, India and Pakistan. Pakistan, which claims the territory as disputed, refers to it alternatively as "Indian-occupied Kashmir" or "Indian-held Kashmir," whereas some international agencies such as the United Nations call it "Indian-administered Kashmir." Сеансы проходят дважды в день

До конца новогодних каникул, по 11 января включительно, на Пушкинской площади москвичам и гостям столицы показывают ледовое шоу «Щелкунчик». Постановка знаменитого фигуриста Петра Чернышова идет двумя сеансами в день – в 17.00 и 19.00. Причем посмотреть его можно совершенно бесплатно!

Как сообщают в соцсетях горожане, шоу вызывает серьезный ажиотаж и чтобы получить хорошее место, приходить лучше на 30-40 минут раньше начала выступления. В любом случае, скучать достопочтенной публике не придется – до старта представления и в перерывах между сеансами они станут свидетелями раскатки и репетиций известных фигуристов.

«Щелкунчик» стартовал на Пушкинской площади 23 декабря, и за это время его посмотрели несколько десятков тысяч человек.

Clara, enchanted, begins to dance with his new toy, but his brother Fritz takes - you doll that breaks the confusion. Drosselmeyer repairs it and console Clara.Os guests dance, the party ends and they retreat. All sleep in the house of Stahlbaum family.

In the dark room, Clara hears rats noise trying to attack her. Suddenly, the whole room seems to grow, the doll comes alive and Clara seem to be on their size. The Nutcracker fight with the rats to defend it, when there are the King of the Mice and the squad of tin soldiers.

Upon arrival at the Magic Kingdom are received by the Christmas Tree Angels, along with the sugar plum fairy, who calls his subjects: hot chocolate from Spain, Coffee from Arabia, Chinese tea,  lollipops, marzipan, Mom Bom-Bom with Jumping Jacks,. rops of dew and their wreaths of flowers.

The Fairy announces that all would perform dances to pay them homage. Finally Clara realizes that it's time to leave the Magic Kingdom, but all he had seen, like a beautiful dream, will be with her forever. Her prince came on back home, this magical Christmas Eve.
