04.04.14 - Manifesto “Salvem o Cantareira – Água para Todos” acontecerá no dia 25/04 em Piracaia (SP)

O Consórcio PCJ, atendendo a deliberação do Conselho Fiscal da entidade e à recomendação da Carta de Campinas, promoverá no próximo dia 25 de abril, às 10h30, o manifesto “Salvem o Cantareira – Água para Todos”, no município de Piracaia (SP), na estrada para Joanópolis, km 100,8, onde fica a PONTE sobre um dos braços do reservatório Jaguari/Jacareí , o principal do Sistema Cantareira, que está totalmente seco.
O presidente do Conselho Fiscal, Julinho Lopes, iniciou o envio de ofícios solicitando o apoio de todos os vereadores dos municípios associados ao Consórcio PCJ e da comunidade em geral para organizarem caravanas e viabilizarem transporte de participantes ao local do evento. O Consórcio PCJ também iniciou campanha de divulgação do manifesto em suas mídias sociais.
O manifesto pretende chamar a atenção do poder público e comunidade sobre a crise hídrica e a segurança do abastecimento público, industrial e agrícola das duas principais regiões econômicas do país: Bacias PCJ e Grande São Paulo, que dependem em grande parte da água que vem do Sistema Cantareira.

The PCJ Consortium, serving determination of the entity's Audit Committee and the recommendation of the Charter of Campinas, promote on the 25th of April, at 10:30 am, the manifesto "Save the Cantareira - Water for All", in the municipality of Piracaia (SP) on the road to Joanópolis, km 100.8, which is a BRIDGE over an arm of the reservoir Jaguari/Jacarei, the main Cantareira System, which is fully dry.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Julinho Lopes, began sending letters requesting support from all councilors of municipalities associated with the PCJ Consortium and the wider community to organize caravans and viabilizarem transport participants to the event. The PCJ Consortium also initiated outreach campaign manifesto in their social media.
The manifesto aims to draw the attention of government and community about the water crisis and the safety of the public, industrial and agricultural supply of the two major economic regions of the country: PCJ Basins and São Paulo, which largely depend on the water that comes from the System cantatrice.)
