A Defesa Civil nacional reconheceu hoje (24) situação de emergência em 45 municípios capixabas, entre eles a capital do estado, Vitória, e as cidades de Vila Velha, Itaguaçu, Linhares, Guarapari, Serra, Vargem Alta, Venda Nova do Imigrante e Viana.

De acordo com a Defesa Civil estadual, seis pessoas morreram e 45 estão feridas. Representantes do órgão mantêm o alerta para o alto risco de inundação e deslizamento de terra na região serrana e a possibilidade de alagamentos em algumas localidades.

Nos municípios de Linhares e Colatina, o risco é agravado em função do nível do Rio Doce, que já subiu mais de 6 metros.

O governo federal anunciou o envio de 3 mil kits-dormitório, de limpeza e de higiene pessoal para o estado.

Além disso, o Ministério da Saúde vai enviar dez kits com 30 tipos de medicamentos e 18 insumos para primeiros-socorros.

De acordo com o órgão, cada kit é suficiente para atender a 1,5 mil pessoas pelo período de um mês.

Cinco patrulhas motorizadas do Exército estão atuando no estado e quatro geólogos foram enviados para ajudar no monitoramento de áreas de risco.

Depois do sobrevoo, a presidenta vai se reunir com o governador do estado, Renato Casagrande, e outras autoridades locais para discutir a situação.
